In its efforts to generate awareness of gender equality in business and women's contributions to developing India-EU relations, the Council launched an exceptional Mentorship Programme for young women.
The primary objective of WICCI's Mentorship Programme for Young Women in the EU-India Business Corridor is to bridge the gap between ambition and success for aspiring women professionals by leveraging the expertise and experience of established industry leaders. By facilitating one-on-one mentorship relationships, the programme aims to empower young women, enhance their knowledge and skills, and expand their network within the EU-India business landscape.
WICCI's mentorship program is designed to provide personalised guidance and support to 11 young women throughout their initial professional journey. Each mentor will be responsible for one mentee for a period of 3 months (April - June 2024). All the meetings will be scheduled by the mentor and her mentee and will take place online.
EuropeIndia40, an initiative of EICBI which aims to discover Top Next Gen under 40 Europe India Leaders, will cover the stories of the next generation leaders and their contributions to promoting EU India / UK India relations.
The application window for 2023 WICCI Mentorship Programme has officially closed.
